From October 13 to 25, medicine fellowship was held. Throughout the program, the fellows gained hands-on experience under the expert guidance of Sechenov University professors and clinicians. They mastered advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical techniques that will shape their future careers.
The autumn edition of the program gathered young doctors and researchers from 9 countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Kazakhstan, China, Uganda, Chile, and Ethiopia.
The program covered 7 areas of modern medicine: dentistry, clinical neurophysiology, neurosurgery, medical engineering, radiology, integrative medicine, and oncology.
During the internship, there were valuable meetings, discussions, and a cultural immersion into Moscow’s rich history and traditions. For many participants, this experience was more than just professional development — it was a chance to grow personally, build lasting connections, and truly become part of a global medical community. They showed great dedication and enthusiasm, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
As they return to their home countries, the fellows are taking with them new knowledge and skills, ideas for improving clinical practice and teaching, valuable contacts, and plans for further collaboration with Russia.
The InteRussia Fellowship in Medicine is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and Sechenov University, with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
