The shortest InteRussia fellowship has wrapped up in Moscow. "Why only two weeks?" you might ask. This medical whirlwind is precisely calibrated for maximum effect and minimal disruption. It's the sweet spot where working doctors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bolivia, Serbia, China, Ethiopia, and Uzbekistan can step away from their patients — long enough to absorb cutting-edge knowledge, short enough to return swiftly to those who need them most.
Over the course of two weeks, our fellows immersed themselves in seven critical frontiers of modern medicine:
Regenerative Medicine;
Oncology;
Urology;
Cardiology;
Medical Engineering;
Genetics;
Bioimaging.
Throughout the fellowship, our medical pioneers were paired with mentors — leading specialists from Sechenov University. But the learning didn't stop there. Our fellows embarked on a journey through Russia's medical innovation ecosystem, diving into the neural mysteries at Skoltech's Center for Neurobiology and Brain Rehabilitation and unraveling genetic secrets at RUDN Research Institute of Molecular and Cellular Medicine.
The InteRussia fellowship programme in medicine is implemented by ANO "Mezhdunarodniki" in collaboration with the Gorchakov Fund, the Sechenov University and Rossotrudnichestvo with grant support from the Presidential Grants Fund.
