Registration is now open for the InteRussia fellowship for foreign experts in STEM

InteRussia Team is launching the call for applications to join fellowship programmes on agrobiotechnologies and wireless technologies for young non-Russian experts in STEM. The project is conducted with grant support from the Presidential Grants Fund.

The InteRussia fellowship programme is an opportunity to:

  • gain knowledge at one of the best Russian STEM institutes;
  • attend courses on various topics by top experts of your area of study;
  • take part in the Innovation Workshop, which is one of the Institute’s signature events representing an intensive course on technological entrepreneurship and innovation;
  • exchange experience with counterparts from different countries.

The fellowship programme will result in scientific projects prepared by each participant on the basis of the programme’s subject.

Fellowship programme will run from 30 August to 28 September 2024.

Location: Skolkovo Innovation Center, Moscow, Russia.

Working language: English.

The deadline to apply is 2 June 2024 23:59 MSK.

All the candidates will be informed about the results via email.

Eligibility

The competition is open to non-Russian students at their final years of Bachelor’s and Master's degree programmes who meet the following requirements:

  • non-Russian citizenship
  • place of residence outside Russia
  • proficiency in English (B2 level and above);
  • students at their final years of Bachelor’s and Master's degree programmes that fit the fellowship’s area of study.

Applicants for the fellowship programme will be selected on a competitive basis. The selection criteria include:

  • good academic performance;
  • other research and expert activities of an applicant (participation in conferences, grant receipts, research fellowships, expert publications, media comments, etc.);
  • results of the (online) interview

Terms of participation

The organisers provide:

  • travel from a city of residence to Moscow and back
  • double accommodation
  • visa support
  • medical insurance
  • scholarship for the duration of the fellowship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.

The participants pay for:

  • meals during their fellowship;
  • PCR test (provided necessary and depending on the requirements at the time of arrival and stay)
