While InteRussia's journalism participants are covering the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the engineering fellows are actively working in Novosibirsk. Over the past week, program participants have immersed themselves in an intensive educational experience.

Key moments of the fellowship include:

  • A series of thematic lectures from leading experts at Novosibirsk State University on the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, photonics, and smart city development.
  • An excursion to the Academpark technopark, where cutting-edge research is transformed into real-world innovations.
  • A visit to the International Tomography Center Institute, where fellows learned about the application of modern Russian technologies for improving health and well-being.

The program also included a cultural component: participants visited botanical gardens, where they appreciated the beauty of Siberian nature.

Currently, the fellows are working on their final projects while continuing to explore Siberia's innovative potential.

The InteRussia engineering program is implemented by ANO "Mezhdunarodniky" in collaboration with the Gorchakov Fund, Rossotrudnichestvo, and Novosibirsk State University, with grant support from the Presidential Grants Fund.
