Our international relations fellows took part in the conference “The Global Majority Towards a New International Order,” hosted by the Higher School of Economics. This gathering provided a dynamic platform to debate and envision the framework for a new multipolar global landscape.
Alongside the experts, the InteRussia programme's participants provided thought-provoking contributions. Their presentations explored diverse, pressing topics that reflect the aspirations and challenges of various states navigating a rapidly evolving global arena and striving to build a multipolar world.
The conference emphasized that building a multipolar world order depends on both established powers and emerging players with fresh voices and perspectives being vital for creating an inclusive and sustainable future.
The conference attracted prominent theorists and practitioners, who discussed the critical transformations needed to create a more balanced and representative world order. With a focus on the perspectives and roles of non-Western nations, speakers delved into how the global majority is shaping the future of international governance and economic cooperation.
The InteRussia program in international relations is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and MGIMO Institute for International Studies with the grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
