Journalism Fellows’ Meeting with Andrey Rudenko

2026-04-24 16:31 Journalism
For InteRussia fellows, diplomacy takes shape through direct engagement. Each cohort meets with senior officials to gain a clearer understanding of how international agendas are formed and carried forward in practice.

On April 23, our journalists engaged in a discussion with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, shifting the focus to Asia and the Global South.

The dialogue moved into regional dynamics:

  • The growing role of BRICS and South Asia
  • The impact of geopolitical crises on cooperation
  • Evolving trade and economic ties
  • Energy and climate challenges shaping the agenda

No scripts, no simplified answers — just a closer look at how complex decisions are approached at the highest level.

The InteRussia Fellowship for Journalists from South Asia is implemented by Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and the Sputnik International News Agency and Radio as part of SputnikPro program with grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
