InteRussia Team is launching the call for applications to join the InteRussia scientific and research fellowship programme for foreign Russianists.
Fellowship participants will have a chance to see the most significant and promising achievements of Russian scholars in the field of philology, take part in expert sessions at universities, think tanks and community-based organisations, as well as work under the guidance of academic advisors, who will be leading researchers of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
Fellowship will run from 16 May to 13 June 2024.
Location: Moscow, Russia.
Working language: Russian.
The fellowship’s areas of study include:
Topical issues of methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language;
The phenomenon of classic literature;
Designing modern means of teaching Russian language;
Communicative linguistics and discourse studies;
Ongoing processes in the modern Russian language;
Language policy, international education, teaching practices in volunteering and educational activities.
During the fellowship, its participants are expected to:
undergo training according to a programme designed to fit the chosen area of study;
draft scientific articles under the guidance of top specialists from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
participate in scholarly discussions;
speak at sections of the International Kostomarov Forum;
attend events as part of the cultural, educational and business programmes.
The last day to apply for the fellowship is 17 March 23:59 MSK.
Candidates who successfully pass the absentee selection process will be invited to sit an online interview. We will inform all the candidates about the results via email.
The fellowship result will be a research article co-authored with a supervisor from a respective field of study and accepted for consideration by the publishing office of a highly rated scientific journal. Each fellow must submit a draft research paper to her or his supervisor three days prior to the end of the programme.
Eligibility
In order to take part in the selection, applicants must meet the following requirements at the close of the application process:
age 25-35;
non-Russian citizenship;
place of residence outside Russia.
Applicants for the fellowship will be selected on a competitive basis.

The organisers provide:
travel from a city of residence to Moscow and back
double accommodation
visa support
medical insurance
scholarship for the duration of the fellowship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.
The participants pay for:
meals during their fellowship;
PCR test (provided necessary and depending on the requirements at the time of arrival and stay)
