International researchers involved in Russian studies
About participants
- get to know the achievements of Russian philologists;
- take part in expert sessions at universities, think tanks and community-based organizations;
- attend cultural, educational and business events;
- participate in the Kostomarov Forum, which is the main annual event in the world of Russian language.
Programme
Each participant will draft a research article co-authored with a supervisor from a respective field of study and accepted for consideration by the publishing office of a highly rated scientific journal.
Fellowship results
Fellowship participants will have a chance to see the most significant and promising achievements of Russian scholars in the field of philology, take part in expert sessions at universities, think tanks and community-based organizations, as well as work under the guidance of academic advisors, whose will be leading researchers of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

About programme
The fellowship programme for foreign experts in Russian studies is geared for young specialists who are engaged in both traditional Russian studies, including methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, ongoing processes in modern Russian, the phenomenon of classic literature, language policy and international education and new avenues for research such as the language of media in the digital age and psycholinguistic studies of tactile communication.
Fellowship tracks:
1. Topical issues of methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
2. The phenomenon of classic literature.
3. Designing modern means of teaching Russian language.
4. Communicative linguistics and discourse studies.
5. Ongoing processes in the modern Russian language.
6. Language policy, international education, teaching practices in volunteering and educational activities.
