The InteRussia team is launching a call for applications for the InteRussia fellowship in energy sector for specialists from countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Russian fuel and energy companies are becoming actively engaged in ensuring energy stability and security in Latin America and the Caribbean amid the global transformation of the world energy architecture. Domestic enterprises carry out joint project activities with a number of countries in the region, taking part both in the exploration and development of oil fields and in major infrastructure projects. The latter includes a number of nuclear power, hydropower and renewable energy ventures.
Lectures and seminars will be complemented by visits to government agencies, industrial enterprises and major energy infrastructure facilities, which will make an important part of the programme. These include the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Department of Transport of the Moscow Government, facilities of PJSC Mosenergo, PJSC Rosseti, PJSC Transneft, Severnaya compressor plant, PJSC Gazprom, and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
Programme dates: July 28 – August 25, 2025.
Locations: St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.
Working language: English.

Eligibility

- Latin American or Caribbean nationality;
- relevant degree and work experience in the field of economics, management and technology in the energy sector;
- professional command of English (at least C1 level);
- a candidate must be currently employed at an energy company or agency in Latin America and the Caribbean.
How to participate?
- Sign up on the English version of the Gorchakov Fund’s website. If you did not receive a registration verification email, check your spam folder.
- Navigate to the “My Projects” section, click on the “Create application” button, select the “InteRussia Energy Latin America 2025” contest and hit “Yes”.
- Fill in all mandatory fields.
- Click on the “Submit” button in the “Apply” section and wait for the status to change from “Preparing” to “Submitted”.

The organisers provide:
- travel from a candidate’s city of residence to St Petersburg and back, as well as from St Petersburg to Moscow in order to attend the Moscow part of the fellowship;
- single room in a hotel of St Petersburg, double room in Moscow;
- visa support;
- scholarship for the duration of the fellowship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.
The participants pay for:
- medical insurance;
- meals during their fellowship.
