This summer, InteRussia wrote a new chapter: our first fellowship in oil & gas. Hosted in Tatarstan, it brought together young specialists from five countries to explore the heart of Russia’s energy industry.
In just a few weeks, our fellows managed to pack in a lot:
And now, the world has a few more people in love with Tatarstan — and a lot more knowledgeable about Russia’s oil & gas sector.
The InteRussia fellowship program for non-Russian specialists in oil and gas industry is implemented by Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund, the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, Kazan State Power Engineering with grant support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
In just a few weeks, our fellows managed to pack in a lot:
- Took part in the VI International Petroleum Youth Forum in Almetyevsk, working in multinational teams and presenting industry cases.
- Visited TN-Biotech Research Center, the TANECO Oil Refinery, and SIBUR Kazanorgsintez.
- Attended lectures at KSPEU and explored the Tatneft Oil Museum.
- Experienced Tatarstan’s culture — from horseback riding to discovering the history of Kazan.
- Traveled across Almetyevsk, Innopolis, and Kazan.
And now, the world has a few more people in love with Tatarstan — and a lot more knowledgeable about Russia’s oil & gas sector.
