Young specialists saw a unique testing ground with an automated 110 kV substation, Russia's most powerful real-time power grid modeling complex that in many regards outperforms foreign equipment. They also learned about the work of centers for innovative energy solutions, as well as climate and mechanical testing.
The fellows were interested in issues of import substitution, artificial intelligence implementation, cybersecurity, advanced data transmission technologies, as well as corporate social policy. Earlier the delegation visited energy facilities in Moscow, including the Skolkovo underground 220 kV substation.
