This week, a new chapter began at Novosibirsk State University — the official launch of the InteRussia fellowship for young engineers from Albania, Bangladesh, Belarus, Chile, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Serbia, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan specializing in AI in Medicine and Modern Quantum and Information Technologies in Electronics and Photonics.
In just a few days, our fellows have already begun exploring Siberia and its research ecosystem. Their first week included:
What’s Next?
Over the course of the month, the fellows will participate in advanced training modules, attend expert-led workshops, and dive into lab-based research alongside leading scientists. They’ll also work on projects, connect with local researchers, and present their findings at the end of the program.
The InteRussia program in engineering is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund, Novosibirsk State University, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Akadempark with the grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
