Another week of the internship program for foreign experts "InteRussia" has ended. InteRussia is a unique project implemented by Gorchakov Fund, MGIMO University and Rossotrudnichestvo where young scholars from CIS countries are working on their own research studies for the period of one month. In addition to that, the participants of the program have an opportunity to meet with top representatives of the academic and expert community and governmental officials.
The week began with a meeting between the participants and Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova. The young experts discussed problems of the national public communications policy in a global world, certain important issues of the international agenda and the role of Russia in their resolution.
The internship program continued with a lecture on interconnections of events on the global arena by Fyodor Lukyanov, Chairman of the Presidium of the Council for Foreign and Defense Policy and Research Director of the Valdai Discussion Club.
