The Dialogue for the Future 2024: Building Tomorrow Together

International Relations
From 25 to 28 November, our fellows in international relations took part in the Gorchakov Fund’s traditional research and educational program named The Dialogue for the Future, which allowed young IR specialists to delve deeper into modern international challenges, discuss the prospects for the development of world politics, and develop scenarios for the future.

As part of this experience, participants had the opportunity to:

  • meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Special Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, and Special Presidential Representative for International Cooperation in Space Sergey Krikalev;
  • engage in four panel discussions addressing the future of a multipolar world order, the fragmentation of the global economy, the impact of digital technologies on international politics, and the architecture of global security amidst regionalization;
  • make a forecast of the development of the international environment for the next 10-15 years;
  • share experiences with 40 young specialists from more than 20 countries.

Thus, the Dialogue for the Future offered an invaluable forum for the participants to deepen their expertise, exchange ideas, and contribute to shaping the strategies and solutions needed to navigate an increasingly complex global landscape.

The InteRussia program in international relations is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and MGIMO Institute for International Studies with the grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
