Tomorrow’s Diplomacy Horizons: A Transformative Journey for Young International Relations Specialists

International Relations
The final chapter of 2024 InteRussia fellowships has officially ended. Over the six weeks of intensive work, fellows from Argentina, Cameroon, India, Iran, Kenya, Moldova, Pakistan, and Turkey immersed themselves in an exceptional blend of academic rigor, practical engagement, and cultural exploration.

Here’s what they achieved:

  • developed research projects on values and institutions in the changing world order under the academic guidance of lead scholars from MGIMO Institute for International Studies;
  • engaged in the Dialogue for the Future 2024, Valdai Discussion Club and HSE University conference on the global majority, sparking innovative ideas for international cooperation;
  • held thought-provoking discussions with Sergey Lavrov, Feodor Voitolovsky, Mikhail Shvydkoy, and Sergei Krikalev;
  • explored the artistic essence of Russia with visits to the Museum of Russian Impressionism and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art.

The programme has not only shaped our fellows' professional paths but also broadened their perspectives for the challenges ahead. Thus, its impact will resonate in shaping the next generation of diplomatic leaders.

The InteRussia program in international relations is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and MGIMO Institute for International Studies with the grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
