Liana Dymova noted:

“We fully understand how many challenges you had to overcome to be here today. That’s why it’s always a great joy for us to welcome you to Moscow, to Russia, and to the oldest and most prestigious medical university in the country.

This is already our fifth fellowship program for foreign doctors, and each time it brings new experiences, new connections, and new discoveries.”

The autumn edition of the program gathered participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Kazakhstan, China, Uganda, Chile, and Ethiopia.

Following the official ceremony, the fellows visited the Museum of Medical History, where they learned about the rich heritage of Russian medical science. Over the next two weeks, they will take part in practical training sessions led by Sechenov University’s leading professors and clinicians, mastering modern methods of diagnostics, therapy, and surgery.

The InteRussia Fellowship in Medicine is implemented by the International Affairs Agency (ANO “Mezhdunarodniki”) in cooperation with the Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and Sechenov University, with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
