The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute has announced the list of participants for the 6th Kostomarov Forum. Among those selected are three InteRussia fellows — Bayram, Nitish and Madina — who will participate at one of the leading international academic events dedicated to the Russian language.

Named in honor of Vitaly Kostomarov – an outstanding Russian linguist and the founder of the Institute – the Kostomarov Forum is an annual international scientific and educational conference that brings together scholars, educators and experts in Russian studies from around the world. The forum focuses on current issues in Russian linguistics, linguocultural studies and contemporary methodologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language. It provides a platform for professional dialogue, the exchange of best practices and the presentation of innovative research in the field.

The 6th session of the Kostomarov Forum will take place in autumn 2026. As part of the academic program, the InteRussia interns will present the results of their research on teaching Russian as a foreign language, sharing their work with the international academic community and contributing to discussions on the development of modern language education.

Participation in the Kostomarov Forum is an important milestone in the professional development of young researchers and educators, offering valuable opportunities for academic exchange and international cooperation.

We congratulate Bayram, Nitish and Madina on their selection and wish them every success at the forum, as well as continued achievements in their academic and professional careers.
