On August 14, TASS hosted a press conference about the upcoming launch of the InteRussia fellowship in theatre arts.
First introduced last year as a pilot, the programme returns in 2025 with an extended format, a longer duration, and an even broader international reach. Applications doubled compared to 2024, reflecting the programme’s growing appeal. This year’s cohort will bring together young actors from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, South Africa, Tunisia, Mauritania, India, and China
The programme has been extended by two weeks, allowing for a richer educational and cultural agenda. Partners include the Gorchakov Fund, GITIS, TV BRICS, the Presidential Grants Foundation and — for the first time — Rossotrudnichestvo
The countdown is on: in less than two weeks, we’ll welcome our fellows to Moscow for an inspiring immersion into Russia’s theatre scene and a truly global exchange of ideas.
The InteRussia felloship program for non-Russian specialists in theatre arts is implemented by the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund, Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), TV BRICS international media network, and Rossotrudnichestvo with the grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
