InteRussia Fellowship Programme Presented at International Festival of Youth

On September 14, at a session of Club 1000 held during the International Festival of Youth, representatives of leading Russian organisations introduced the programmes available to foreign specialists in Russia.

The session featured addresses by:

— Konstantin Kolpakov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo;

— Svetlana Zhurkina, Deputy General Director of “More than a Journey”;

— Liana Saakyants, InteRussia program manager;

— Ekaterina Guznova, Manager of the Partner Interaction Support Block at the Presidential Platform “Russia — Land of Opportunity”.

Liana Saakyants presented the InteRussia fellowship programme for international professionals, outlining its formats, opportunities, and the tangible impact it has on participants’ professional development and personal growth.

She noted that the programme, launched in 2021, enables young foreign specialists from a wide range of fields — including international relations, science and technology, journalism, medicine and the arts — to undertake intensive fellowships lasting from several weeks to two months at leading Russian research centres, universities and partner organisations. Participants gain direct access to Russian expert communities, take part in research projects and expert sessions, and build lasting professional networks, while organisers cover travel, accommodation and provide a scholarship.

The InteRussia programme continues to foster meaningful professional exchange and strengthen mutual understanding between Russia and the international community.
